Hi Jeremy, this is an excellent overview and critique of the different AI image generation tools. I'm really enjoying Nano Banana at the moment, but I think I might have to have a play with Ideogram and Flux as a result of this. Thank you.

Jeremy,

Congratulations on your posts, which have helped me discover new sites and techniques. I especially appreciate your style, concise, informed, clear, and precise.

May I please ask you what tool you suggest for making line drawings?

I like and paid for an app called Paper, though it recently changed ownership so that may impact it: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/paper-sketch-draw-create/id506003812 I also have used Procreate, a popular drawing app which has lots of fancy features. And a free one I like is Adobe’s Fresco. I hope that’s helpful, Stephane!

I recently created a coloring book using AI about a theater director. It is beautiful and I self-published through BookBaby. I also, had enough human interaction that I am able to copyright under the new 70/30 rule. I am so excited.
