Thank you for this list of apps. I downloaded Gamma. Tried to use it. Very difficult. AI is not responsive. The sight is not intuitive. The card designs suggested by Gamma are very poor and require too much effort to correct. I asked for a map of europe and received a very poor black and white map. Asked for country names to be added and Gamma supplied gibberish. Asked again for a correction....nothing. I will stick with PowerPoint. Gamma needs a ton of work to make it useful. But thanks anyway. I appreciate the effort.

Hey Jeremy, thanks for another great set of valuable recommendations. I particularly liked what Pathwright seems to offer in the direction of learning paths (highly useful for curators), but - unusual for the type of accessible tools you always recommend - prices seem very high (starts at $99/mo) and don't see much of a transparent free trial option available to us. Am I missing something?

Hi Robin, Paul from Pathwright here. Pathwright has special pricing for independent experts and teachers that make it more affordable to start out with and includes a free tier.

We're working on a new pricing structure right now, so the plan isn't currently visible on our website, sorry about that! It will be visible on https://www.pathwright.com/experts in the near future.

In the mean time, if you'd like to try it out just let us know at hello@pathwright.com or through our in-app chat (it's free to start designing paths with).

I would like to add - having serendipitously stumbled across this post a moment ago, that as a long time user of Pathwright (both as as paid school and on the "free build behind the scenes" tier, too - that not only is Pathwright the best piece of software for building cohort based course communities - the folks behind the platform (including Paul above) are some of the nicest, kindest, and most thoughtfully responsive folks you'll find in the online education ecosystem, too. Having used just about every E-commerce and online course creation platform under the sun myself (including a few thousand "students" on courses delivered on platforms like Podia, Circle, Mightynetworks, Gumroad, Ghost and more) - Pathwright is the most elegant, easiest to use and outcome oriented course creator that the vast majority of folks have never heard of - simply, I'd argue, because Paul, Mark and the PW team are a tad allergic to the sort of self aggrandizement and shameless platform promotion that most of the other platforms are eager to embrace - with both hands :). Big PW fan - a great platform - and better people to boot!

Thank you Paul, for this clarification. Much appreciated indeed. It would be lovely to know what the new pricing will be effective and what one can effectively do with the free tier. Without this info, it’ll be difficult for those potentially interested, like me or my readers, to make the decision to invest time in trying it out.
