Thank you for this issue Jeremy. I am a big supporter of sharing of learnings and processes transparently, which helps starters a lot along the journey. Since I recently started my weekly newsletter as well, I think a lot about how to use my time in a more productive and efficient way. Currently, I am reading "Deep Work" by Cal Newport, which is giving me inspiration to find my own way. I felt like you also refer to some methods he mentions so I highly recommend you if you haven't done yet. I believe that you like it.

Loved this issue, Jeremy! I aspire to streamline my publishing process but for now it's a mix of Google Sheets for tracking ideas (there's a neglected Trello board out there somewhere), Evernote/Google Docs for writing, designing for Mailchimp and Wordpress formats and I always "sleep on it" before editing. I want to try your approach of also editing in a different format. Thanks for sharing a very clear and concise look behind the scenes. - Cara

This is really helpful: I've learned to accept that my mind works in unpredictable cycles.

I'm just starting to realise this. I've called it ebb and flow. It's great to know that I'm not alone in this. I agree, too, with what you say about scheduling the deep work.

Thanks, really useful insights.

Great post, it’s always interesting and inspiring to look into one’s behind the scenes, especially when involves some sort of creative work. I am too trying not to suffer from lack of motivation on days that I’m not super inspired, but instead to take advantage of those days or weeks that I can get in the flow and curate/outline several different posts in a week!
