Interesting post. Like many I have been extensively paying around with AI for digital marketing. I do find the concept and need for plugins interesting though. With experimentation as important as prompting - I wonder at what point a platform can learn to respond effectively without a particular plugin ?

We’re getting there. I think the biggest hurdle is context. As you add more capabilities, you have to add their descriptions and syntax to the underlying prompt, which eats up valuable context window tokens. As we find ways to effectively lengthen the context window, I think the opportunities for advanced tool use go way up.

Loved this. I use chat GPT for my classroom. If I need to write a piece for children that need some extra support then it can be great (you do need to check first) at getting the pitch just right.
