It's great to see another attempt to popularize the use of markdown in making presentations. At the same time, it makes me a little sad, because such a tool already exists, but hasn't been updated in ages. It is called Deckset (https://www.deckset.com/) and I'd really wish that someone would link to it somewhere because it deserves to be noted. Ui-wise, it looks almost identical to iPresenter, with the exception that it is an actual working product and not a beta. I really wished this could encourage more people to give it a try, and somehow manage to convince its creators to release a new version. I am a happy customer of Deckset and have done many presentations and courses with it.
Thanks, Jeremy. I ams ticking with google slides for now: Easy to share with my class, and relatively easy to build. Sharing matters, as the class uses the deck to review. (Plus for physical keyboard/RSI reasons, I had to switch to PC).
